Synchronizer*
|
A recurrent task with SharePoint Libraries is the upload of items from a local computer. Although
this process can be done manually, file by file, or by using the default ‘Explorer View’ of each Library,
users will appreciate ShareParts’ new product, Synchronizer*, which automates this process and makes it more efficient.
Synchronizer* scans a computer at specified intervals in one or more Directories, and if any type of file is found,
automatically uploads it to a configured SharePoint Library.
Synchronizer* is specially designed to work with other automated software and processes. A typical example is a
document scanner that scans documents and saves them as files in a computer. With the ShareParts Synchronizer*, the
scanned documents can be directly uploaded to a SharePoint Library without intervention. In the same way, graphic files
designed to be saved as Adobe Acrobat pdf (Adobe InDesign and InDesign Server, for example), can also be automatically uploaded
to a SharePoint Library.
In short, ShareParts’ Synchronizer* can be used with any software process that produces and saves archives in a file system.
